The West Village's First and Best Cigar Lounge and Cocktail Bar. The most refreshingly civilized place to meet. Smoke. Sip. Savor.
Cozy old-school ambience, if you don't mind cigar smoke
Cigars! Old fashioned place with great ambiance. Choose your whiskey and your cigar!
Have a cigar! Just do!:-)
Bring your own stog and pay the $5 cutting fee.
Starting the birthday night out right with cigars and scotch!
Great old fashions
Excellent atmosphere. Scotch selection also excellent.
Scotch; hotel quality wait staff
Bourbon, scotch, and cigars
Enjoy a low-key setting with cigars and fancy cocktails. While it is expensive, the atmosphere is worth it.
House band cigars are surprisingly good. Very solid Scotch/Whiskey/Bourbon list as well.
In honor of the Tribeca Film Festival, try the "Blush Blush", a light, bubbly blend of BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Gin, St-Germain™ Liqueur, Campari®, citrus foam, and club soda.
Единственное место в NYC где можно курить
Bring your own sticks as the ones available are hugely overpriced. A Davidoff Millennium Lonsdale is $75.00. The cutting fee is only $5.00
One of the last bastions of freedom in the city where you can relax with a cigar, a scotch, and a Bond movie playing silently in the background.
The West Village outpost of Bar and Books has a posh selection of literature, an astute whiskey menu, and a long list of cigars. Celebrities stop in from time to time to enjoy a 60-year-old scotch.
Always a Bond movie playing... What else do you need to know?
British library style bar, with a bartender that looks like Steve Van Zandt's character in the Sopranos. Whiskey+ cigars, what more do you need?
Dirty martinis. The best here.
Great atmosphere, good conservations, subtle background music, cigar selection is decent, but scotch, rum & bourbon pairing make it a great venue. Alex and Julie are the bet wait staff.Get there early
Great place for cigars and drinks.
Get a Bar&Books stogie and ask the bartender for a scotch/whiskey recommendation. Hands down best cigar lounge in NYC, and vintage Bond movies seals the deal.
This place blows, they make you take off your hat (but apparently visors are ok!?!)
Best cigar bar hands down. Great cigars, good selection in booze, and thee waitresses are good talent. Good guys night out spot.
I wish I smoked. Cool bar, but a tad smoky if that makes sense.
Hands down best bar in NYC
This place is great if you're meeting a friend or flying solo. Cozy and intimate!
Ask for a Purity Vodka on the rocks. Divine.
laphroiag triple wood!
A cozy library cigar bar with a wonderful scotch selection. The only smoking permitted venue in the neighborhood!
Suggest this for a date- whiskey flights and cigars are sure to make you the look like the baddest chic around town.
A conversation on cool...
Try the Basil Hayden on the rocks. Smooth.
Go to the far back...VIP is great!
A library inspired theme makes this place a natural choice to enjoy a cigar and excellent scotch. If you're not into scotch however, try a Dark and Stormy.
I love this place. Great nightcap spot. I usually have amaretto or vino, and a couple puffs. The atmosphere is fantastic.
This place is glorious. Do not drink the water. It is for extinguishing.
Great dry rye manhattan. Everytime.
The hand-rolled, Bar & Books Robusto is excellent.
Hands down the best cigar and scotch bar in nyc. All the others are overrated because this one actually has girls that also go. Plus you have to love the red velvet.
The whisky selection is superb and not overly priced. the cigar selection is weak and extremely overpriced. Save your money, bring your own and pay the 5 dollars. Its worth it.
Leave work a little early and head on over to Hudson Bar & Books. Sip some scotch. Enjoy a cigar. You worked hard all week. You deserve it.
Uuuuu mein neues zuhause:)
Lets see how real this is. I'd love to find a decent place where I could smoke a cigar and sip a drink from time to time.
Bad news: you can smoke inside. Good news: you can smoke inside.
