Most everything is great, though this critic is partial to the deeply flavored rice and pigeon peas with local ham, and the cabbage salad, an ephemeral, minty elevation of traditional cole slaw. Read more

Try as we might, we haven't come across a single item we didn't like. Sprinkle the Hot Pepper Vinegar on your scratch made tortilla chips - ADDICTIVE!

The rice and beans are the best, just a little spicy. Be warned, though. In the evening the service is excruciatingly slow. It's worth it, unless you're in a hurry.

The sandwiches are amazing-pulled chicken and pork! Also the sides are tasty and you can get a few to share. One of my favorite places!

Inventive non-alcoholic drinks, well-seasoned slow cooked meats, and soulful sides make for a great meal. Restaurant opens all windowed doors in the summer for a fresh breeze.

The last few times I have been to Brasa the food was not worth the high price. I would not recommend it- the pulled pork was dry and the green tomatoes were so thin and only 3 slices.
