Authentic and trendy Vietnamese Restaurant in Hoxton, London. The best Pho in London.
One of the pricier Vietnamese places but worth it. Always busy.
shaking beef. no substitutes - heaven
Best Vietnamese I've been to in London
Love, love, love Cây Tre. Usually have to wait a couple of minutes for a table but always well worth it. Great food, busy atmosphere, fun times.
Chilli salt & pepper squid would be my last meal if I ever have to choose.
various lunch dishes at 6 quid + service is a bargain at this place. be quick though, as it's always packed for lunch.
Big fish are always a winner here - banana leaf wrapped Mackerel.
Top, high quality Vietnamese. Replaced Tay Do as my favourite due to their audacious price hike.
Roast pork vermicelli was amazing. Really tender and well seasoned pork. As close to home cooked as you can get, according to someone that knows what that tastes like.
Good food but pricey, noisy and cramped table. Kingsland road is better
Good food but staff very pushy to get you out as soon as possible. Still paid the 12.5% tip though. Thems the beans.
They don't actually take AMEX so you'll be disappointed if you're hoping to use the £5 cash-back AMEX offer currently running.
Don't be mislead by this restaurant's slick design -- the food is distinctly mediocre.
Order the saigon pancake and the bean curd curry.
No east London food guide is complete without Vietnamese and for vegetarians Cây Tre is up there. Mushroom pho is a good alternative to the meat fave and their unique veg spring rolls are delicious.
The pho noodles are amazing!
Share the lotus salad for your starter. It's great.
The crispy chicken thing was preetty good.
The Cumin Lamb is delicious.
Beef rice paper starter is excellent and cook your own fun!
Busy and noisy at lunch... fantastic Pho, friendly service, the kind of place to go with friends just so you can taste more of the menu!
The classic pho is seriously amazing.
The pork belly is lovely.
Always book a table. It gets busy. Tasty food and buzzy atmosphere.
Not your run of the mill Vietnamese place; well worth seeking out. Service isn't too bad either.
I really enjoyed the Lemon grass sautéed tofu.
You won't get full with the vegetarian version mushroom pho, and I believe they use msg, my mouth feels funny after eating it :( not up to the hype.
£10 lunch set menu is good but you can't get a vegetarian pho as part of it :(
Really great Vietnamese food, a bit more expensive than the places on Kingsland Road but the menu is exciting and full of excellent tasty things.
Great Vietnamese. My com saigon tasted very authentic.
BBQ Pork with vermicelli is tops! Fish sauce already underneath all that goodness.
Amazing Pho Chicken!! Great restaurant. ALWAYS book!!
I think this is one if the best Vietnamese of the area. You must eat the tapioca and coconut ice cream desert!!
The pho is amazing. Amongst the best I've tried.
Huge menu that just begs to be sampled. Gets pricey though!
Nice food but service was rushed and rude. Very conveyor belt.
Chilli salt squid- I still haven't found it better than here
Best Asian food I have ever had!
Beef carpaccio is amazing!
Get the chilli pork chop on jasmine rice. It's the best thing to eat for miles around.
Vietnamese special fried rice a winner, the spicey sausage a welcome extra!
yep, very good food, ace big noodle soup
A very nice touch of Vietnamese food with authentic cuisine. "Phở" (Beef noodle soup) and "Bún thịt nướng" (BBQ Pork Loin with Rice Vermicelli) are winners! Really good value for money, excellent food
Noisy, different menu than Cay Tre Soho, rude service and full of mediocre people from Essex on their big night out in Shoreditch. I hate everything about this place. Nice food though.
Do not, I say do not miss the chả giò (crispy vietnamese spring roll).
The basa fish is superb
The broth for the pho is excellent. Would've liked bigger portions though...since it's so good!!
