DAM has a fantastic contemporary collection- especially if you're interested in the past thirty years. and though they rotate the exhibition, the things on view are always choice.

Whatever you do, do NOT parking in the parking structure!!! Use the 5 hour parking meters or surface lots. You could spend 30-45 minutes trying to get OUT of the structure's horrendous line!

Beware these doors. Inside there is no sign to indicate that this is an emergency exit. (Perhaps part of a relational aesthetics piece where you're meant to leave with a sense of shame for trying).

I brought my class here & the guard on the Asian floor was a jerk. They weren't running, yelling or touching the art but he chewed them out for touching a WALL. It made us totally uncomfortable.
