- Travelwith KTMay 12, 2019Probably one of the worst hotel I ever stay at. Long line for check in, just like Wal-Mart counter, 4 counter only 2 open, unfriendly front desk staffs, never stay here again
- Plan ahead if you plan to take a hot shower. I think the water heater is located in Jersey
- My home away from home in NYC. They get helping their guests who stay there. So... stay there. Read more
- great hotel, except when renovations are going on, the noise can become annoying.
- Ranhee YuSeptember 16, 2013It's cold. They don't have heater in room. But you can ask extra heater to the frontdesk
- Ramnik SinghJanuary 12, 2014No coffee machine, no drinking water!!! Plan ahead of you are arriving late at night.
- Better bring a water to your room. They, sadly, don't supply. Also, room service is weak....so if you travel as much as some of us do, you may want to avoid.
- Reception at this hotel is the worst. Don't be fooled by the modern decor of the lobby, the treatment is more like the ghetto d o u b l e t r e e sign on the side of the building. No executive lounge.
- Don't eattttttt the cookie!!!!! They forgot the sugar, and the flour!
- Brian GluckmanDecember 12, 2010Plan for extra time getting up and down if you're staying here--it can take upwards of 15 minutes to get an elevator!
- Michael BlumJuly 12, 2010The warm cookies are great. But mold on my bathroon ceiling and no valet parking.
- Susan FassbenderOctober 28, 2012Worst Hilton property I have stayed at in years! No coffee maker in the room, rude service and awful breakfast. Add to that small cramped rooms that you can not move around in we will not be back.
- Lynn GohJune 30, 2014Bullshit charge of $2 per bag if you arrive before official check-in time - first time a hotel has EVER charged me for this. Disgraceful for a Hilton.
- Alex BotteJuly 4, 2012Restaurant in hotel (where breakfast is served) has a B rating. Food was OK though
- Davor I.January 9, 2011Rooms look far worse than presented on website. While staff (namely Simone) is very good the hotel somewhat fails short of Hilton fame.
- Dana DydascoJune 10, 2010Their currently going under renovation on certain floors, hallways are gutted and kinda creepy, but rooms are fine and a lot cheaper
- MellyJune 29, 2013Be prepared to pay $14-$16 daily for the worst interest service..... This hotel needs to get with the times of free wireless wifi in all areas of the hotel.
- Adjust the thermostat? What a joke. There is no heat in here... I've been shaking in the sheets at night. What a terrible hotel. Not even a coffee maker for some hot beverages. This place sucks.
- The desk clerks might be persuaded to give extra welcome cookies for milestone birthdays...:)
- Smallest Room in NY, no fridge, no coffee pot, and very expensive. The location is convenient but doesn't worth it
- This hotel does NOT offer a coffee maker in each room. I consider this a failure for a Hilton brand hotel.
- If you have Hilton honors, don't book through 3rd party like Priceline or Hotels.com. Hilton will not recognize your stay and give you zero. There are so many better options in this city.
- Regis MSeptember 12, 2010Service great and good looking middle eastern woman at front desk. But be weary if they try to uprade because they told me they were "upgrading" to king bed but the room smelled like curry and sweat.
- Pablo GoldbargApril 27, 2012The hotel is under renovation. Today they started drilling at 8:00a and the concierge said "there's nothing we can do about it"
- Johnny NorbertoJuly 27, 201390 minutes to get two lousy foam pillows. I requested no down pillows and got 4 of them. How does it take 90 minutes to get two foam pillows?
- Sam GarberMarch 5, 2014$2 to check a bag and $2 to get it back. Really? What a racket. Also no cookie when I checked in.
- No coffee maker, no fridge...in cheaper hotels u get all that included....very disappointed at DoubleTree.
- Mary ZygadloFebruary 5, 2020Nothing!! Crazy expensive bar, rooms at 74 degrees with no way to cool them down...
- Housekeeping plays "who can yell louder" between the hours of 7am-10:30am.
- NabeelMarch 20, 2011The union rat was outside one day. Apparently the place had scores of bed bug complaints.
- Location was great but the rooms were a little run down. could use some refurbishing.
- Kira B.June 2, 2011Bathroom wasn't very clean. Don't think they actually cleaned the toilet. Expected nicer. Still, wasn't horrible. Staff was nice.
