- ShinfuMay 13, 2014Don't go inside. Go to the Top of the Rock. It's a trap. Longs queues, the personal is not very kind and the view are worse that in the top of the rock. 2-4 hours without a rest.
- Stephen Neill O'BrienDecember 24, 2016Very quick today...go during the holidays...everyone's gone..yea!!!
- Johan Perz™ 😏April 25, 2014Just climb the stairs from the 80th to the 86th floor, so much quicker than the 20min wait for the elevator.
- Pedro PereiraJuly 11, 2013Please, if you value your time, money and mental health, DO NOT take the Skyride! Go directly to the Observatory, it's absolutely breathtaking!
- Ronald VeltenAugust 14, 2018Normally love it, but prizes went up outrageously and the outside observatory on 102nd was closed (which they did not tell)
- FreezeCrowdApril 17, 2014Amazing views! FreezeCrowd is the sponsor of the NYEBN meetup, that was on the 60th floor.
- Elizabeth McDanielJune 24, 2019Get the express ticket to skip the lines - for three it was $100 - best $100 I ever spent!
- Debbie TramelOctober 15, 2011Waiting to see the Empire State building to turn pink for breast awareness month. Several of the towers are already pink. Martina McBride is doing a concert and then it should be pink!! Love NY!
- Hussam AlQatariJuly 3, 2012Make sure you make it to the top! The view is just fantastic! One of the best things to do in New York!
- MAMMA MIA!January 21, 2012Since you're so close to the Winter Garden Theatre (50th & Broadway), catch a performance of MAMMA MIA, now 11 years on Broadway. For best availability, try a 2pm Saturday or Sunday matinee.
- Melissa LopezSeptember 11, 2014top of NYC so far and best view of Manhattan. Can never compare to my London....
- Jorge Oscar González ZalazarDecember 23, 2015Goegeous building. Don't visit 86th floor deck on a rainy or foggy day. Keep your bucks for another day.
- Dustin GavinMarch 13, 2013"the early bird gets the worm" rings true for this place. I was through security and at the observation deck faster than expected.
- TOPMANAugust 31, 2012Head into our New York store (Broadway & Broome), check-in and tweet #FoursquareNY for your chance to win a $250 Stylist Appointment!

- Elizabeth HutterJanuary 24, 2016It was so beautiful and awesome inside of the Empire State Building.😀
- Alexander KostSeptember 29, 2017Even though it is almost a century old it looks very luxurious and classy
- AminNovember 29, 2010You have to go here when visiting Manhattan ! Be there an hour before sunset so you can enjoy the city's view by day and night.
- Paulo PuglisiJanuary 27, 2016They need to update the experience quickly. One World is better and not only because it is taller
- Jeetendra ChandragiriJanuary 5, 2012A waste of time and money; rude staff too. Top of the Rock, the observation deck at Rockefeller Center (50th St. & 5/6 Av.) provides an unrestricted view, quicker to reach and all-round more enjoyable
- Firas BataDecember 30, 2012Went to the 86th floor, the view is wonderful? I hear the upgrade to the 102nd isn't worth it cause the view is indistinguishable.
- Trump Hotel CollectionJune 30, 2011The tallest building in NYC and offers breathtaking must-see views from the 86th floor observation deck.
- Veronika LosovaAugust 7, 2014Don't be cheap and buy the priority pass. Seriously. Even if you go there at 10pm!
- ElenaAugust 14, 2014There are so many Russian tourists there, but no Russian anywhere. The view is beautiful, but it took almost 3 hours to get there. The guy on the street sells tickets for 38$, but its real price is 28!!
- NaomiApril 2, 2012Pay for the express line, it's worth it because line goes on forever and ever. Toilets on 86th floor are the clean.
- Sergio CanalesApril 13, 2012It's important to get a NY City Pass before arrive to the building, if that so, you only has to do one line, save time, enjoy more...
- Solemi CervantesApril 27, 2013Sky ride is $42....not worth it! Do it only if you have the NYC Pass or have a free ticket
- Kyriaki VasilakiFebruary 24, 2016The first thing you should do when arriving at NYC.Especially for first timers.
