much more to see around Vegas than slots. 2 1/2 hr drive gets you to Death Valley, the park systems best kept secret. 1 hr N on I15 is valley of fire with petroglyphs and amazing rock formations.

You can get to the airport in a matter of 10 minutes from your hotel on the strip! Service is quick--they get you in and out with plenty of time to shop and eat before your flight.

If you grab a cab, tell cabbie NOT to take freeway. Cab should take 10 mins / cost $15. They always try to hose me with the "long way runaround"

If you get a chance come visit downtown Las Vegas and see what the Downtown Project is all about. You might be pleasantly surprised at what's being built - a city as a startup.

If renting a car, be aware that all rentals are picked up off site via shuttle. Best to give yourself an extra 20-30 mins when returning to get back to airport.

Save money going to the strip by taking the bus that says WAX 🚎. 20 USD for a 3 day pass that’s good for all the strip hotels, can be bought with the RTC app. Terminal 3 bus stop is on the 2nd floor.

Terminal 3 is such a great difference vs the old terminal. As with any flight, arriving a couple of hours before, will get you in in no time. With a minutes to spare for shopping or a cup of joe :-)
