Get here EARLY and order either the fresh fruit pancakes (blueberry, peach, pumpkin, etc), latkes, or the biscuits and gravy. Great breakfast and the cool, homey atmosphere.

Go with Jeb's Open Faced Biscuit Sandwich. Be sure to save some bread or part of your biscuit and put some of the blueberry sauce on it. It's a sweet surprise!

You have to get Jeb's open-faced biscuit sandwich. Huge and I couldn't finish but it's everything you could want in a breakfast. Coffee is good too.

Expect this place to be crowded. Because it is good enough to always be crowded. Fun takes on standard fare and not afraid to make both healthy and not-so-healthy comfort food. Excellent dining!

If you come with a party of more than 4 on the weekends, be prepared to wait as they only have 2 tables that can accommodate larger parties. Def try the key lime french toast! So flavorful!

The neighborhood's answer to South Philly's for the hipster brunch. The menu is an appealing blend of (matzo balls), Southern (chicken- fried steak), but the flavors aren't always quite in register. Read more

If there's a line, put your name on the list and stay put. If they call your name and you're not there they'll go on to the next party. Saw the tip about the tea shop, but haven't tried it.

Toad in the hole is the perfect size for a moderate appetite. The side of micro-greens offset the richness of the brioche/egg/cheese/truffle.
