If you're tourist in Istanbul you should order cacik, gavurdağı, sosyete lahmacunu, közde patlıcan, közde soğan for starters. For meal your taste is important but tarak is the state of art the place.Upvoted Apr 26

Özgür ErpekAugust 17, 2015Don't try to order your whole dinner from the get go. Pick 2-3 mezes, 1-2 portions of meat, drink your rakı and eat gradually. Pick 1-2 different meat portions for round 2. Repeat.
