Bargain! Smaller than the Grand Bazaar, but still wide choices of products. Shops are extended up to outer of the bazaar. People are nice and helpful too.. even bought the copper water pipe here 🤣

Find the almost-hidden staircase near the northern (?) entrance, sneak upstairs to the restaurant and catch a peek (and pic!) of the markte from above via the dining room window. Be speedy!

An amazing gastronomic paradise since 1664, the Egyptian Spice Bazaar (located in Eminonu) is another favourite of the camera-wielding, souvenir-seeking tourist and also for Istanbul locals.

Ok foodies now it's your turn! Famous Spice Market. You'll be amazed with the variety of colors, savory smells and tastes here! Don't miss to visit local charcuteries outside of the market.

Generally best prices we found in the city for anything in the bazaar, especially silver and ceramic. Beats the pants off grand bazaar, cost-wise, and less hassling to go with it.

If you leave the indoor part of the market and go right outside, by the water and Galata bridge, the vendors are more authentic and more than half the price

Always crowded, always lively, always colourful. Sadly, goods are mostly touristic and low quality, so you must try and find the good vendors. For spices 👉 Kalmaz Baharat, no: 41 on the left side 😉

A covered market famous for its spices almost next to Yeni Camii. Take a walk to see all these colours and smells from spices and delights but rather not buy....it's a bit pricey.

The Spice Bazaar Mısır Çarşısı is one of the largest bazaars in Istanbul. Located in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district, it is the second largest covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar
  • Turkey Travel Centre
This place is good for a visit however if your time is limited, head to the grand bazaar instead. Bigger and better! Remember if you are looking for pure saffron, it is Iranian and not Turkish.
