Neil MansillaAugust 17, 2012Your room adjacent to an elevator? Don't unpack your bags. Head straight down to front desk and get another room. Those series of rooms should be converted into utility closets. Too. Damn. Loud.
Ask the staff to show you the Prohibition Room off one of the elevators. ;-)
Adjacent rooms separated by a door are paper thin. If the tv is on too loud, you'll hear it.
Margarita drinks for reception on cinco di mayo.. how considerate( and yummy!!)

Stay here with your dog...they are very accommodating...provide dishes and a bed for you.

Watch out from connected rooms, you can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the next room and they can hear you!
David RJune 14, 2019Rooms are small and not well kept. Gaudy design and outfits on the staff. Not up to Kimpton standards.
Not the best hotel but decent. Bathrooms are extremely small and provided shampoo smells weird. Take advantage of the conservation program and get a $10 voucher for the hotel restaurants and bars.
Ask for Chelsea at the Bar Drake and have her make you a lava or grasshopper. Life changing.
when you check in here, if your room # ends in 07 ask for another room! the 07 rooms are very tiny barely space to get past the bed.
