Wonderful Japanese garden, and if you have little ones, don't miss the splash ground in the children's garden. Great secret summer cool down spot!

July 4th is traditionally a free day for families, but don't think you're getting near the water area in the kids' garden. Pay admission and have your own space another day.

I've only had the opportunity to see Lewis-Ginter during the winter for the garden lights, but it's absolutely breathtaking.

A historic property with 40 acres of spectacular gardens, Lewis Ginter is home to a classic domed Conservatory, the only one of its kind in the mid-Atlantic, housing more than 200 orchids.

I wouldn't come just for the Water Play. Best suited for kids 4 and under. Smaller than Midlo Y water spouts.
