- Explore ChicagoDecember 6, 2011Besides its reputation for a wide range of class offerings in ceramics, painting, drawing, & photography, Lillstreet has an amazing gallery shop featuring original artwork & handcrafted gifts.
Great place to learn, have fun or get serious with art. From painting, pottery/ceramics, jewelry making, printing etc etc. A great place to let your artistic side flourish.
The painting classes can be fun, esp the more experimental ones. Avoid the "first time" classes unless you really have _no_ art background whatsoever.
Take Tony Porter's drawing class. Great instructor. It's a great place for those with little experience to explore their creative curiosity.- A great variety of classes. I recommend Bob Horn's Figure Drawing -- he's a great teacher. Read more
The annual student member show is in a week. There is sure to be some great pieces.
