The permanent collection is always free and offers plenty to look at. The special exhibits are a little pricy, but admission is half price on Tuesday and Friday evenings!

This museum is a beautiful space and it has a great permanent collection which is FREE! But today I came for Monet's Early Years. My only regret is that I didn't come earlier. Fantastic.

For free admission, the permanent collection merits a good hour. Bring a book to enjoy the fountains and garden around the premises.

World class special exhibitions, high quality general collection. The lunch buffet is great, and the outdoor garden is peaceful when it isn't super hot outside.

I always adore the exhibits here. It's a favorite place to see travelling exhibits. I must say I enjoy watching the construction of the addition as it progresses.

This Louis Kahn designed building is a work of art itself. The Kimbell annex, designed by Renzo Piano, is set to open in 2013.

Don't go on last day of a big art exhibit, lines are long especially for the Age of Impressionism. But just found out about it and wanted to go.
