It's an Astoria institution. Comfort food and good service. Very redoubtable m reasonable and laid back. Just about everything is good.
Christine ClarkAugust 24, 2013Everything here is huge!!! The small salad is definitely meal sized and the cake was enough for five. Irish Coffee was mostly whisky; maybe they actually forgot the coffee bit of the drink.

Shiloh ZdunekOctober 25, 2014Ordered a Salada Mexicana on Seamless with chicken, salsa and sour cream. Received a Greek salad with Portobello mushrooms in a soggy tortilla. No replacement offered. Just a credit for the future.
The lox and onion omelette with rye toast is just the salty, hearty goodness I’m looking for in a diner breakfast.

The early bird special (3pm to 6pm) is SO MUCH FOOD for $10. Make sure to exploit the free desert it comes with. Mike's is making me fat :(

The croissant French toast is magical. It's like Harry Potter dropped out of Hogwarts to become a diner chef specializing in breakfast breads.
I love this place!! The food is good, cheap and cozy. Egg Benedict are great!

Phillip IzvernariAugust 30, 2013The Club sandwich is decent, that really is it. Chili is bland not yummy. The Breakfast Sandwich is definitely not happening. Cooks should care more about what they put out there!

The broiled fillet is out of this world! So are the stuffed mushrooms :)

Stay away from the spinach pie. Trust me on this one. Especially late night.
I've never been in a colder bathroom. How do they do that? Love everything else!
