It's the best $10 we ever spent! Our tour guide, Peggy, was the best. Being (and singing "My Girl") in Studio A, where all early Motown artists recorded their music, was an awesome experience.

After checking out the museum, hit up the gift shop and check out the multiple Motown compilation albums they are selling. Get a few for the drive to your next destination.

Nice piece of history. However, should you want a tour, show up very early or you may not get in. A small venue and limited staff. You can't make reservations or get tickets on-line.

can't just walk through yourself, have to wait for tours which start whenever they feel like starting them. You wait in cramped hallway w/ no air w/ a billion other people. BUT absolutely worth it.
