2 people? 1 bread, 2 chotas, 1 bada, 1 side. Go for chutney sampler (mango is great), cheddar kulcha is a quesadilla, don't miss the aloo mutter, skip chicken tikka

Floyd Cardoz's return to New York cooking, Paowalla offers more ambitious Indian fare than most are used to, like Vindaloo pork ribs (fall-off-the-bone tender) and halibut in a watermelon chutney

Impressed with this spin on indian food. We tried their take on chicken tikka and spicy pork ribs, both great. The breads are fun to mix and match with a larger group!

3 Chilly Chicken/ Kulfi / Hyderabadi Goat / Fluke Ceviche... But the Three Chilly Chicken is the best

BRUNCH: Indian flavors on American friendly dishes at soho prices. Bacon naan is not naan and it's quite pricey. Dug the chicken tikka

A really awesome, new take on Indian food. Just as good as Tabla was. The small plates are the best.

Roasted bone marrow, curry leaf chicken tikka, golden tilefish with a side of lemon rice. I have never licked my plate clean at a restaurant like I did here.

Trendy spot with high-end service. You can get naan anywhere - go for the Tingmo bread roll. Rechado stuffed Sea Bream comes deboned and is fantastic.

With the plethora of Indian restaurants in NY, I was not expecting to be blown away. But this place is very fun, casual, and delicious. Would definitely return!

Everything is good! The skate, goat and chicken tikka entrees are musts. Highly recommend the chutney sampler and pao small plate as well.

Super trendy but casual and amazing service. No words do the flavors justice but definitely get the fluke ceviche

Stunning Indian in a casual environment. The best thing on the menu? The fluke ceviche. Oh man.

Fluke ceviche for sure, and the heirloom tomatoes. But actually all the appetizers are amazing.

This place was good, but with all the hype, I was expecting unforgettable. It's a great modern take on Indian, but I'm excited ti tapestry now.

Don't order daal or the rice dish. No flavor in either. The peppers and eggplant were decent.

Vada pav is on point. Chaat has too many potatoes. Not enough vegetarian options. :(

Mediocre overpriced food... do not order grilled pineapple dessert... it is the worst thing I have ever eaten (had a bite) and it is served cold... there are better choices for good Indian food in NYC

Tasty but...it's Indian food catered for Americans - sweet, fried and fat. There was nothing ambitious about the food, dishes lacked flavor depth of real Indian cuisine. Overall food/service was good.
