- Behrad EatsNovember 30, 2016At brunch time, the Farmer's Breakfast is the way to go! A massive plate of 2 sunnyside up eggs, home fries, housemade sausage, Faicco's bacon, ham & country toast.
- Geoffroy BablonJune 11, 2016Possibly best steak frites this side of the Atlantic. Juicy steak, crispy charred on the outside. So good you leave the sauce right where it is. Goes well with a patio table and a bottle of red!
- Bon Appetit MagazineDecember 5, 20175 oz. Burger: The thing about most burgers is that they're too much burger. That's why five ounces is perfect. Enough beef to satisfy my craving and a perfect proportion to condiments, cheese, and bun Read more
- Simon LeungSeptember 2, 2015This place is total hipster but it's also got amazing food. Go on Friday/Saturday for the Cote de Boeuf - it's an amazing steak meant to be shared. Might be my favorite steak in NY.
- Josh ReynoldsSeptember 10, 2017Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Great bun, delicious chicken, thick cut pickles, and plenty of aioli/mayo. Strong recommend.
- Kev SkinnyOctober 5, 2015Ok, wow. This restaurant is a pantie dropper. Food and drink obviously amazing. But the atmosphere and service outshines how fkn great everything tastes. Nice job Frankie you sexy bastard.
- Jane KatzJune 20, 2016if you're here with 4+ friends, start w the wedge and the sausage platter (as an appetizer! Tried the guinea hen and the steak frites and actually would come back for the crunchy, fried bird! Do it.
- CITY GRITAugust 9, 2014Our fave dishes - Bibb Lettuce, Spaetzle, Arugula & Pear Salad - aren’t heavy on the meat! So we can feel good ordering the Cote de Boeuf for 2 served with watercress - which is basically a salad!
- F. BastardSeptember 12, 2015At lunch, the (cold) sliced ribeye sandwich on pizza bianca is superb. The lunchtime burger is on the small side (5oz) but chock full of dry-aged flavour. Great fries too.
- Love brunch here. The French toast is simple and really good. The turkey bacon sandwich is great too. Also I don't like biscuits and gravy but I love it here!
- Condé Nast TravelerOctober 27, 2016There are brunch spots that are ideal for boozing, and those better for nursing a night of overindulgence. Prime Meats, luckily, fits nicely into both categories. Read more
- Reinier *August 12, 2014I love this place. Food is presented like a piece of art. Best hamburger I've ever had. Try Prichard Rye Whiskey (photo)

- Selom AApril 25, 2016Menu is constantly rotating but the pork chop with heirloom lima beans was so good. Pork chop was extremely tender and juicy. If spaetzle is on the menu, order it.
- Village VoiceNovember 21, 2013Punches are changed daily and are just $5 per cup. Get the American Beauty, a large bowl of liquor with notes of strong black tea and raspberry.
- Cocktails, steak, Bibb lettuce salad, pork schnitzel, octopus appetizer, spätzle, fries!
- Nikki JAugust 22, 2013Best Steak Frites I have ever had and a very generous portion size. Pretzel is fine but very small and only worth it for a taste of the delicious stone ground mustard
- Mike DizonJanuary 4, 2012Bone marrow, steak frites, the wurst, the schnitzel, and the mushroom spatzel. I dare u to order everything at the same time and finish it all! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Ethan McCartyDecember 16, 2016If you have 4 people, get the giant steak -- it is 40oz. If you have that with some sides and one other entree you will be loving life.
- Daniel McDonoughAugust 21, 2017The chicken sandwich is insane. If you like pickles you won't be disappointed. Trust me.

- Marty KennyFebruary 17, 2017What a great meal! The Cote de Boeuf for Two was off the hook. One of the tastiest steak offerings I ever had.Marty
- Henry BridgeJanuary 14, 2016Tasty pear old fashioned and awesome (albeit $23) burger. Came before and had curiously bad wine, so would recommend cocktails.
- Yummy brunch - better than Bubbys & Buttermilk Channel IMO. The Maria Bloody Mary with Tequila rocks as do the bacon and biscuits. And if you don't try the pretzel, you have seriously missed out.
- Mushroom Spatzel. Small is a good side for 1 person. Large could easily be split btw 2 people. For dinner, i suggest the white 1 Bavarian sausage with a small Spatzel. Great cocktails too!
- Carolina RevillaMay 9, 2015Nice decoration inside, good for families or a date. Had the farmers breakfast for brunch and it was great.

- PriceMarch 19, 2012Not one for your weird vegetarian pals, but great stuff and great decor. The egg & swiss sandwich for brunch is amazing on a homemade biscuit.
- JackieSeptember 22, 2012German meats with the spaetzle were the way to go. The specialty cocktails are also delicious. German potato salad is on the tart side...and bacon-y.
- eric mortensenApril 3, 2015Great sausages and tartare. The three rifles cocktail is balanced and perfectly delicious. The pretzel is unremarkable.
- The steal on the menu is that pork chop. $19 or $21, huge, taters & greens, out. If you go with steak frites the Grenache is a perfect, smoky pairing.
- Men's Health MagJuly 9, 2012The Côte De Boeuf is sold by the ounce with a minimum order of 27 ounces (about 1 3/4 pounds). Tackle a smaller steak on your own, or go for the 52-ounce monster to share.

- BKSeptember 5, 2015Best steak frites I've ever had. Charred octopus and oysters hit the spot to kick off the meal. A+
- [from a Porterhouse guy] the steak frites was the best strip steak I've ever had. Thick, ton of flavor, perfectly cooked. Super impressed. PS-go more than medium rare and our friendship is over.
- Great brunch if you like a good steak. Surprisingly to me though, it's not a steakhouse but German restaurant. So if you go for lunch, don't expect a steaky menu.
- Jessica DoyleJanuary 26, 2013The burger is to die for, especially paired with the bourbony-deliciousness of a Parlor Game. Don't miss the cheese spaetzle. Really. Don't.
