- Kathy Bohn, MKE RealtorNovember 26, 2014Best bar-b-que in town! Love this place! 4 different sauces to choose from- you add as much or as little as you like. Don't like sauce? Don't need it! The pork is smoked, moist, delicious without it!
- Andrew HillOctober 15, 2012The pulled pork was divine! You get a hefty half pound which is complimented with corn bread. The Mac and cheese is a must try! All of the sauces were to die for. Check this place out!
- Katie RaebelFebruary 1, 2012Tip? Try putting a good sized dollop of the coleslaw on a bite of your sandwich. It just adds a little something. Also, Try the house BBQ with a little drizzle of Texas & the mustard based one. Yum.
- Whit MaullJuly 4, 2015One of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had, perfect amount of spice. The pulled pork, brisket, and sauces kill too.
- Stephanie SpenceJune 30, 2013The family platter is by far the best!!! Fed our family of 5. It had pulled smoked brat, baby back spare, brisket, pulled chicken, cole slaw, Mac n cheese and corn bread= DELISH!!!
- Brian ArtkaJuly 30, 2012Same owners as AJ Bombers, some damn good BBQ. It doesnt compare to Stubbs, or Iron Works in Austin, TX, but this is the next best thing. All the meats are good, I like the house BBQ sauce.
- Amazing BBQ. The meat is dry-rubbed and you choose from four sauces at the table. Try the pulled pork, Kansas City sauce, sweet potato fries, gooey bacon bourbon brownie and whiskey ice cream!
- MIlwaukee needed this place. Absolutely amazing BBQ. Everything comes right out of the 1000 lb. smoker in back. Try the pulled pork with sweet potato fries and a rustic old fashioned!
- Michael ChangFebruary 4, 2012Love BBQ? You will LOVE the Smoke Shack! Must try items from the smoker: sausage, brisket, short ribs and baby backs. Save room for the bourbon praline cake & whiskey ice cream. Yum!
- Zofia NoeDecember 20, 2014This place is perfect. The BBQ is delicious, the place is cozy, and blues music is filling out the ambience. A must if you love BBQ!
- Marty O.August 19, 2018Baby back ribs were fair, vinegar slaw is red cabbage, but with an excessively fine grate (use a coarser shred for this). Sauces were good. Beans were v. good
- Steve KrierAugust 15, 2017We had ribs, brisket Mac and cheese , smoke shack salad and bourbon bacon brownie. Everything was delicious
- Usually come for Sunday brunch and get the savory sweet potato pancakes with pulled pork. That Carolina Gold sauce is exactly that...GOLD!
- Cherri Pierangeli KasdorfJanuary 22, 2019Goodness, our meals were delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and nice and the staff was friendly! Can’t wait to go back!
- Rhonada HoeppnerJuly 5, 2013Sweet spot between 5-6 pm for ribs. Beware the ribs are always sold out by 7 pm...no kidding. We never got to try the ribs!
- D CraftMarch 1, 2015Excellent food bit GPI really before they sell out. Mac and cheese is great but pass on the greens as they are made with way too much sugar.
- Dean StelowJanuary 25, 2013The brisket sammich, the sweet potato fries, the mac n cheese, the white chili and bourbon cake with whiskey ice cream AMAZING!!
- Tracy DinanJune 13, 2015Yum! Worth the wait. Small place, nice outdoor seating area. Loved the brisket and Mac n cheese!
- Mary VruwinkMay 12, 2017I have been here before and normally have a good experience but today everything on my plate was cold and there was more fat than meat in the brisket😟 hopefully just an off day
- Josh BregerApril 19, 2013Brisket is fantastic! Sauce options are great. Overall wonderful experience. Will be back next time I'm in Milwaukee
- Julie ParfreyMarch 22, 2015Brisket was the best. Mac and Cheese was good but not as good as Maxie's. Get one of the bourbon drinks.
- Eileen BurrellJune 25, 2012Come early for ribs or brisket, they sell out. And the decadent Mac and cheese... It lives up to its name.
- Shanice HemphillFebruary 20, 2016Disappointed! Ordered wings- they were warm ¬ thoroughly cooked-still bloody.9 wing portions for $9.50. We had pulled pork sandwiches and sweet potatoe fries. Our food was cool not warm. #Neveragain
- Work nearby? They partnered with @FLAVORcycle bicycle delivery service. Tip well and enjoy some stellar BBQ!
- Get the Bacon Bourbon Brownie. Substitute the Whiskey Ice Cream. Thank me later.
- Rachel FedermanFebruary 11, 2012Rib combo is delicious. Bacon browned is great too, but make sure to get extra ice cream with it!
- MikeAugust 6, 2014The BBQ egg rolls are surpassingly good. Their pulled chicken is ok, but the pulled pork is great. Sauces are kind of weak.
- Brandy OrmondAugust 10, 2014It's just ok. If you are from the south, or have lived in the south, you will likely be disappointed. Also, $5 domestic bottles is a little steep.
- Great for brunch! Love the pulled pork eggs benedict.
- Jon TetzlaffJuly 22, 2017Brunch is phenomenal. Savory sweet potato pancakes are great + a free cinnamon roll!
- Justin BDecember 10, 2013It seems blasphemous to not have ribs or pulled pork, but the pulled chicken is actually their best item.
- Melissa MMarch 11, 2012Get the bourbon bacon brownies with the whiskey ice cream. Totally worth the calories.
- Joel RottierDecember 8, 2012Get the pulled pork nachos. Seriously, the best nachos and the best pulled pork I've ever had!
- Everything is good here but recommend the pork and the Mac and cheese
- Delicious BBQ. Highly recommend brunch the sweet potato pancakes are delicious
- MoseyJanuary 26, 2012The praline cake is like a little pecan covered slice of heaven. Save room for it!
- Their brunch is just as amazing as their regular menu.
- Shocking...here again and they are out of two things on the menu...good thing they can't even maintain their restaurant and they make a big delivery push!
