Confusion at gates 51-59. The queue under the tunnel is indeed the queue for your flight...it looks like queuing for 51-but it's for 54...
Use this place as a last resort. If you have young children, they will hate you for coming here.

They need to do something about the border control.... ENDLESS
Never more than 4 or 5 security gates open, takes ages. Charge for plastic toiletry bags (WTF?). Use Boots to buy water, NOT WH Smith.
Tuba IslamOctober 13, 2011Be careful about the transit. It is not enough to pass the final security. You might need to take the train after that to go to the gate. Not good tonotice it last minute after a coffee at starbucks:)
Avoid carrying bombs in your luggage they tend not to like it at security check.
- Prepare for lots of waiting time. Border control capacity planning is random at best
If u have forgotten ur Mac charger they sell them in Dixson's. Thank God!

If flying by Ryanair - buy your food at Pret - its far nicer and cheaper than the junk they try to sell u on board

"You can get shuttles here to the nearby hotels like the Premier Inn and the Holiday Inn. They tend to go every half hour. The to get to then you will have to go underground from the airport."
