Nothing good here. Arriving here from perfectly organised Oslo airport makes Stansted look the rundown hellhole it really actually is
Security at Departues takes an age. Get through early! (Least 30mins before boarding)
No queues at 4am. And it’s always an exciting hunt looking for a working USB socket.

If you don't have a clear, re-sealable bag they often give you one at security.
You're only allowed liquids in a sealable bag of a certain size now. But then you buy as many as you like in the departure lounge and no one gives a toss.

Louise HJuly 23, 2011A lot of waiting for an empty shuttle to the immigration hall where there were more waiting in looong lines to enter UK. Also a bit frightening to be welcomed by policemen with machine guns

Nur Shafini AhmadJanuary 26, 2015What i impressed the most about this airport is they provide us with a multi-religion prayer room. There was Holy Quran and Bible inside. The qiblat direction and ablution room also provided.

Definitely check out the Krispy Kreme stand. Gorgeous ;-)
Bring your own plastic bags for makeup an liquids, as this IKEA airport will charge you for them.
Maco GonzalezSeptember 14, 2014Stressful airport. Won't know your gate until 30 min prior departure, and u have to catch a train to get to the gates. Security is ridiculously crowded and you'll have to go through if flight transfer

Avoid parking in the 15 min car park unless you are happy to drive round every 10 mins or so... 45 mins parking just cost over £30
You'll suffer long queues after bank holdays. Just be patient and smile :-)
This airport used to a nice place to fly out from but it is just aweful

Incredibly frustrating if you're running late for a flight- mandatory, zigzag route through duty free and other shops before you can get near the gates
