The coffee is good. The food is out of this world; the eggs are fresh and have a good looking dark orange runny yolk. Good views upstairs and outside you can catch some sunshine at the canal.

Try their delicious breakfast and a cup of their amazing flat white. The coffee is made from a constantly changing selection of beans roasted in house...Learn more: London: Coffee(In)Touch Guide Read more

Get here just before 1 and you can usually miss the rush and wait. The Turkish eggs (chef's fave) and bananas on toast are 👌

I love this cafe, the food is really nice in particular the potato cakes, their homemade baked beans and tomato chutney, but the service is utterly shocking! 2 hour wait for your food and no apology!

They have a spot right next to the canal...get their early to catch the first sunny spells...definitely have some time on your hand as it is not as organised as you wished for...food is amazing.

A great local stopping-off point for a warming hot chocolate or a superlative pie. It also has a pretty unbeatable view of the Olympic stadium. Read more

So hipster it hurts, but great on a lovely day to sit out and enjoy some brunch. Particularly enjoyed the jalapeño scrambled eggs.

The eggs benedict are consistently delicious as are its variations – smoked salmon on potato cakes instead of muffins and hollandaise. They also do one of the best flat whites in London. Read more

Couldn't decide between the French toast or the mackerel with baby potatoes and horseradish cream. Went for the mackerel and I was not disappointed!!

Pretty decent coffee and a nice view of the canal in a good weather. Bit too hipster and crowded over the weekend. 7.5/10

Excellent food in what might be a borderline hippie commune. Recommend the Turkish eggs.

Their bacon baguette (I prefer it with avocado) is quite possibly the best bacon butty in Tower Hamlets if not the whole of London!

Brunch is great. French toast and the mumbi scramble are a big yes. Coffee is a bit strong and small for me as I take it black. Canbi suggest a filter option?
