- J CrowleyMarch 11, 2016Incredible breakfast, atmosphere and service. 🍳 Eggs Dave's Way is the only way to go. Hollandaise sauce, bacon 🐷 and avocado. Whoever this Dave dude is, he knows what's up.👌🏼
- Jon SteinbackJanuary 21, 2015I know it's technically for 'kids,' but their kids grilled cheese is fantastic. five bucks, with chips, veggies, and a pickle. perfect cheap lunch.
- Khaled HijabNovember 21, 2015Great value for money: don't miss out on the lavender lemonade and chicken pot pie. Order a chocolate chip muffin to go. Top rated for ambiance and hospitality of staff.
- Gia RobertsMarch 5, 2017Great food. Weird seating rules. Do NOT sit before you order. I learned this the hard way. great breakfast served all day. Awesome customer service. Had the avocado pouched egg on toast meal. SO good
- Haley JonesJune 21, 2014Drinks are huge and the iced tea is amazing. Get the Huevos rancheros over the steak & eggs (which is 80% enchilada sauce with a little fatty steak and egg) Pear and Gorgonzola omelette is awesome.
- Gayle MacciaNovember 28, 2016Terrific food, just can't go wrong. Serves wine and beer, and has a great indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Love that the outdoor area get sunshine! Terrific place to come.
- Heba-I-amSeptember 6, 2017I had the mexican scramble and it was so delicious! The tortilla chips in there gave it great texture and flavor! Every bite was interesting tbh and you can't say that about many scrambled eggs lol
- Stephanie BonoJuly 25, 2017The rosemary hash browns are delicious. Very cozy atmosphere inside-with a fireplace and twinkle lights, and outdoor seating as well. Cool spot to get away from the hustle of the city.
- Rachel KaplowitzJune 5, 2019My perfect coffee shop. 6:30am opening, unlimited coffee, super spacious, great music, a giant fireplace, and a yummy menu.
- SusanaMay 10, 2018Perfect for when you want a quick bite without the hassle of getting a reservation or waiting on a long line. Friendly staff. Food is good, lots of healthy, reasonably-priced options.
- Claudia FabiolaAugust 3, 2015My favorite breakfast spot in San Francisco during my stay. Recommendations from our group: fresh squeezed orange juice, breakfast burrito, avocado eggs on toast, eggs Benedict.
- Nell LawsonSeptember 24, 2014The breakfast tacos are sub par. The veggie sandwich with goat cheese is pretty good. All in all, I'd say that this a place to go out of convenience vs. A foodie destination.
- Becky HendersonOctober 16, 2013The burrito was amazing we added sausage. The mocha was delicious a little rich. I would pass on the PB & J crepe it was a little too sweet. The fresh OJ was delicious def get a small.
- Fitch ♚February 26, 2017Make your own mimosas buying a bottle and 2 OJs. You'll look way fancy and still get day drunk cheaper.
- GosiaMay 5, 2015Great place for breakfast in SF!Tuna melt and BLT platters were huge and tasty (10,5$) Latte and espresso were great too
- Becky HendersonOctober 21, 2013Breakfast burrito with sausage is out of this world. The oatmeal is so rich and creamy with fresh fruit very filling. The cafe mocha is incredible. Pick up your drink from the barista ASAP...
- Allison AbbottFebruary 11, 2016The breakfast burrito was pretty great, and the ambiance/decor was delightful. Definitely want to come back to try more!
- Luis GuerreroFebruary 4, 2017The Pecan Pie is just delicious. I went on a rainy night and the coziness of the place made me feel relax so relaxed.
- Lears FoolOctober 3, 2015I finally did the breakfast burrito (served all day.) And while not traditional, it is quite delicious. A nice blend of the ingredients, with plenty of fresh pico.
- Good breakfasts. But you pay for it. As an example. Omelette with grilled chicken and avocado. Hold the cheese. No toast or hashbrowns sub tomatoes with a bottle of pellegrino runs $21 after tip...
- The breakfast burrito is legendary. The chai and fresh orange juice also strong. Relaxed vibe.
- Jason RashaadNovember 2, 2012The breakfast burrito was so good I soiled myself. You should try it before you die. The burrito, not soiling yourself in public. Don't do that.
- Ellen McGrodyDecember 8, 2015Super cute! Really homey! I had the chicken pot pie. It was rich, savory, and super tasty. I'll probably be back to give breakfast a try.
- Hanan MalSeptember 9, 2019Avocado toast is great, Pastrami sandwich was a really hearty sandwich! Their drinks weren’t good and too sugary, I don’t recommend the iced teas!
- Ranu RajkarnikarMarch 28, 2015Quick and delicious brunch spot. Amazing and giant fresh squeezed OJ, and great mexican brunch dishes. Loved the baked eggs!
- Justin McKissickSeptember 12, 2015Great for breakfast food! Breakfast served until 10pm, my kind of place. Very interesting interior as well.
- Brendan NeeAugust 10, 2014The Berkeley Bowl salad at the grove is the closest thing to a cafe intermezzo salad you can get since it burned down. (No pineapple slice though)
- Sue HeimMarch 4, 2016Loved the breakfast sandwich so much, it was the only thing I had! The burrito looked good but it was huge. Great coffee! And service!!!
- Carol BargMarch 10, 2015Hot cider was delish! The good came and wasn't super hot but still tasty. One of the waiters warned us if you sit on the patio keep your phone off the table or it may get swiped!
- Hip decor with large wood tables and awkward seats. Not bad place for a work meeting in the morning. Breakfast burrito is a little pricey but it's a real delicious meal.
- My new favorite cafe. Great decor and awesome food. You won't be sorry for trying it.
- Never had a bad meal here. Great for groups medium to small. Service can be a little slow, but the food and drinks are excellent.
- Max Tatton-BrownAugust 31, 2018Salads are enormous by UK standards but felt some of the freshest quick convenient lunches I've had in SF.
- Jack LincolnAugust 26, 2019Quick service and good atmosphere for a weekend breakfast. Pastrami was a bit fatty but otherwise a solid breakfast spot. Seating is not guaranteed!
- Rene T.September 2The best thing about the pastrami sandwich ("Grove Reuben", 20,-$) was the pickle, I can't recommend the pastrami at all.
- Chris CaloMarch 7, 2017Great atmosphere and a tasty chicken pot pie. Pair with a Chimay and a side salad. 👍
- Jean Paul ChevalierOctober 5, 2015Nice and cozy. Amazing for breakfast. It was our 1st stop each morning on our visit to SF. Very friendly and enjoyable.
- Jennifer RussoAugust 27, 2014Impeccable service even though it was busy. Eggs Benedict were fantastic. Beautifully crafted coffee drinks. They clearly care about what they do here.
- Maddy CookeFebruary 15, 2017Tried the Cubano Sandwich and the portions are big. Great for lunch while at Yerba Buena Gardens.
- Tasty sit down breakfast without a multiple hour wait. The only thing I wish is that they had pancakes, but the French toast is a good fallback.
- ThoughtJanuary 3, 2015I was one of the first customers to ever come here, and 7 years later, it's still one of the most creative cafés in San Francisco.
- Brian WalkerMarch 25, 2016Everyone recommended the Breakfast burrito so I had the me Mexica Scramble! :) Very good but $21 when I add the orange juice and coffee.

- Frank RimalovskiFebruary 10, 2015Great spot for coffee or a meal in Soma near Moscone. Seriously the best bran muffin I've ever had (can't be good for you).
- Alyssa LulieFebruary 16, 2014The chicken pot pie is amazing, so are the meatballs. If you love lavender, the fragrantly tart lavender lemonade is a must have
- Jacob EdholmJune 4, 2015Go nuts and get the grilled cheese with ham AND bacon for lunch. A pilsner too, of course.
- Apple juice and orange juice are a must with every meal. The Verve Coffee is smooth, rich, with just the right amount of caffeine. Can't go wrong at the grove.
- Petr J.November 11, 2018Eggs Benedict and a coffee cost $20 tax incl. Eggs were very good but far from outstanding.
