- Time Out Los AngelesMay 13, 2015Once just a Burger of the Month, the house-made veggie burger is now a permanent menu item — and thank goodness, because it's delicious (and only $6). Farro gets top billing on the ingredient list.
- John StevensonOctober 18, 2016The Oinkster pastrami is the bomb especially with their house sauces !!! Fantastic piggy fries .... root beer floats are the business as well... I am satisfied !!!
- ErickaFebruary 11, 2014Best burgers and pastrami in Eagle Rock. Yummy fries & cupcakes make everything complete. Brand new interior has nice eat in areas & brand new flat screens. Worth the 10 minute drive from Pasadena.
- JenniferNovember 3, 2014The Oinkster is my go-to here. Peppery pastrami, extra pickles... Make it a meal for $4 extra. The fries (with aioli!) are the best.
- Los AngelesAugust 1, 2013Work up an appetite by exploring the hidden gems of Highland Park during NELAart's Second Saturday Gallery Night, then tackle the Oinkster's over-the-top burgers and pastrami.
- Andrew RafnerJuly 26, 2015Veggie Burg is top shelf. Word to the wise, the Belgian Fries as-is are NOT veg-friendly. Ask for them to be prepared without the beef shortening.
- Adrian PhillipsJuly 20, 2015First time visitors should try the Pulled Pork or Pastrami sandwiches. They come with a ton of meat piled in so prepare to be stuffed. Fries are ok, I stick to plantains and red cabbage for my sides.
- Matt A.June 3, 2013For their burgers, you can't beat The Royale. A chili cheeseburger with pastrami AND bacon that appears monstrous and absurd, but is actually a delicious medley of flavors and textures.
- First We FeastAugust 3, 2014Each day of Burger Week, they do a special burger—anything from a Star Wars-themed burger, to a deconstructed Taco Bell burger, with the patty deep-fried in crushed Doritos. Read more
- Sean O'HaraDecember 31, 2014The Oinkster Pastrami is good. Piggy Fries and Chili Fries great. Awesome selection of craft beers, with a good rotation of new brews coming in all of the time.
- Belgium fries w/ Garlic Alioli sauce..BOMB! Love their chopped chicken salad too. Nice beer selection. The fact that the patio is dog friendly is a huge plus for me :)
- Matt QuinnJanuary 27, 2013The Oinkster is featured on this new iPhone app for Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Has all other places on the show. Pretty cool. Check it out
https://itun.es/us/KopxJ.i - FabFitFunDecember 1, 2011Get the pastrami sandwich (with gruyere) or the chicken with brie sandwich. They may also have some of the best fries around — with perfect crisp outsides and soft insides.
- There's a Happy Hourt Special Monday thru Friday from 3 to 6. Burger, frys and a drink under $8. They have great selection of beers. I go there often.
- Lizzy SaxeDecember 22, 2014Pastrami sandwiches and the chicken with brie are fantastic. Also, check out the ube shakes for maximum happiness.
- Chris EckeardJanuary 11, 2016Good food but prices are on the higher side. Most things are made in house including how the meats are prepared and condiments. Good beer.

- The Oinkster Pastrami and Belgian Fries are to-die-for. Beer selection is pretty good too. Order the Ube Shake for your sweet tooth.
- The Carolina style pulled pork sandwich is the best in the west. Not to be confused with other types of BBQ, Carolina style is herbs & spices wig vinegar. My fave.
- Marci RosenblumDecember 5, 2009This place is delicious and worth a visit if you are in in these Los Angeles areas: Eagle Rock, Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank. Try the Rotisserie Chicken, Red Cabbage Slaw and or the Plantains. Yummy! Read more
- Today I'm getting Chinese chicken salad and piggy fries. Oh yeah, add the bottled coke! Great combination that gets you less guilty~
- Pulled pork with extra caramelized onions. Look up "Oinkster" on YouTube and watch their segment on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. Shows you how it's made. :)
- Gaston HinostrozaApril 21, 2010I also am bananas about the classic 1/3 lb. burger, and because you can never have too much of a good thing, I get the double. If you go Oinkster pastrami - go posh, GO POSH!
- Claudia A.August 22, 2014I can't decide.. But please order the chili cheese fries. Just think of gourmet fast food going into this place.
- AD NysMay 28, 2012Bring snacks and drinks for the kids. No kids menu and there can be a 30min+ wait during busy times. Draft beer selection helps ease the wait.
- Josh TesslerNovember 24, 2011Get the Piggy Fries. The homemade thousand island is great. The ChipotleKetchup is definitely one of a kind, must get it!
- Sarah KelsonSeptember 15, 2014They should do a chili dog, it would be fantastic. The chili fries are great!!

- Horchata Shake <3 (they discontinue this during the holidays though! But they always bring it back) oh, and they always have the game on!!!
- Get the house cured pastrami. That's the better pastrami sandwich.
- Nina NMarch 3, 2014Yummy BBQ pulled pork sandwich and piggy fries. A little too packed. Had to fight over seats with other customers.
