Café Grumpy coffee and calm, collected decor make this a great place for a bowl of oatmeal, a quick brunch or a business meeting nearby the New York Public Library. A gorgeous setting.

A bit overpriced, but delicious. Order the avocodo+cilantro+lime toast, and ask for a side of two poached eggs to put on top (inspired by a similar dish at Milk Bar in Brooklyn). Read more

Wow! Breakfast sandwich (fried eggs, bacon & aged cheddar) is amazing. Relaxing piano covers of songs (e.g. Pixies Where is My Mind) & the beautiful decor make it a lovely way to start the day :-)

Amazing coffee from cafe grumpy, best egg dishes for breakfast and brunch (cage free eggs from feather ridge farms), chicken schnitzel and roasted Berkshire pork chop are must haves at lunch/dinner!

Food is great and the avacodo toast was wonderful! Service can be slow so be prepared. Also, it seems to gather children in the morning and can be quite loud.
