When your friends suggest going here, roll your eyes, heave a sigh, then gently suggest sitting outside at Mission Bowl instead, which has superior food & drinks and a similar, less hectic, ambiance.
A tiny gem of a museum with a fantastic selection of furniture, medieval & romantic paintings. Bike out on a Saturday morning, and walk around the coast trail afterwards. Good temporary exhibits, too.

Nice balcony with views ostensibly of the port, but in reality, tops of palm trees. Restaurant is all glass. Bit posh but not too eurolounge.
The lady behind the counter have me free iced coffee once because the network was down. She is why I like this place.
