Great personal attention at the bar. Great wine and vodka selection and killer thin crust pizzas. And they just added a prix fixe brunch on weekends, which I'm looking forward to trying.
I came here with coworkers for drinks on a Friday night. First time there, The atmosphere was great, the food was very good..escargot, cheese board, pizza, dessert and Joe our server was great!

It's not the best pizza but when you're in this part of town you got to stop and grab a slice. Honestly their brick oven style pizza supersedes everything else they serve with super fresh ingredients.

Thin crust coal oven pizza that makes some good pies for the neighborhood.
Final verdict/tip: The Sicilian with pepperoni is my favorite, followed by Mama's Style. Get Mama's (or any normal crust pie) crispy if you don't want it to go limp.
Sac's is my favorite restaurant in Astoria. The pizza is second-to-none (I order mine well-done), as are the homemade pastas and gnocchi (Mama's lasagna!), the asparagus and prosciutto, and much more!
