An inexpensive college bar that you will keep going back to. Mainly because it's so cheap, but also because it's awesome.
The beers are cheap. The bartenders love to show off the "Gone Baby Gone" scrapbook (ask about it!)

The Porters' Porter, made by Mercury Brewing Co., is the house beer and a very solid porter. Drink one (or many) before a Celtics or Bruins game. (Unfortunately, it's not available in the summer.)
Troeg's beer is one of the most underrated breweries in the nation. If they have Hopback (or other) on draft, give it a try.
Chicken and waffles are amazing. Also try the Hushpuppies and the Full Moon cocktail
Catfish sandwich and loaded mashed potatoes were great, as was the fried chicken. Wash it all down with a Lone Star, the national beer of Texas.
Line Dancing on Sunday’s and Tuesday’s. Great fun, beginners welcome. Where else in Boston can you do this? $4 drafts and great company. Worth a look!
