Sunny Anderson: The pistachio cocktail and the Knafeh for dessert are the best. If you like crunchy eggplant, order it for the app, the tahini with it is perfect.

The Corcoran Group: While the Salsa Music in the background didn’t match the Moroccan vibe, the food was amazing – Roasted Eggplant & Tahini, Merguez Platter and the Fish Tagine.

Jen Snow: The "eggplant caviar" is particularly special. Hummus is wonderful, almost whipped. Shakshuka, skillet of ground lamb & tahini...all great. Space is cozy/ well-designed/small, but perfect takeout too. Read more.
Serious Eats: Far and away the best hummus in NYC; try it with ground beef on top (trust us). And don't miss their excellent vegetable side dishes, either.
Dina: Worth the trek to Brooklyn if you're a hummus lover. It's fantastic and always fresh. The rest of the menu is tasty Israeli home-food cooking. Good brunch and lunch options. Cheap.

Mike Friedman: Best Israeli brunch in NYC (or a close second to Café Orlin) - worth a decent wait on 5th Ave. Burekas are not to be missed. Don't be afraid to opt for a pita sandwich like the Sabich (pictured here).
