Definitely purchase tickets to visit between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. any later amd you could be outside waiting for more than 1 hr. Park across 75 - free 2 hr parking & no traffic.
Look for the Weapons of Mass Destruction exhibit. — Nobody can seem to find it...
If you visit the 6th Floor Museum be advised that concealed carry is FORBIDDEN. Leave it in the car or you are gonna take the "walk of shame" back. :-) JFK Trolley Tour is WELL worth the money.
