SUGARFISH is the best sushi restaurant in NYC. It's been open 3 nights, and it's already true. Lives up to all the LA hype. Put your name down, plan for a long wait. Order the Trust Me. 🍣
Amazing sushi, I recommend the bay scallops.
Not the best sushi in NYC but it's a great value. Similar to their locations in LA, menu is simple, sushi is delicious, service is great, and it's relatively affordable. Price includes gratuity.
Nothing extraordinary, but always a solid choice for fast and fresh sushi. Atmosphere is date-worthy and they often play contemporary tunes. Lobster tempura roll is a winner.
One of the best sushi spots in the area (a distant 2nd place to Yama on 17th St.) but very solid nonetheless. The River Roll is a good place to start.
Great service, and the food is fresh. I really like the Rainbow Roll and Miso soup.
Beautiful space and equally beautiful experience. Peekytoe crab toasts, tuna sashimi, every pasta on the menu, halibut, lamb, sides of manchego corn and mashed potatoes. ALL delicious! Oh, and don't
The décor is absolutely stunning, and it doesn’t outshine the excellent food. Try Fluke Sashimi, Kasha and Bowtie Pasta with Veal Meatballs and the Salted Caramel Ice Cream Sundae.
Liked everythibg we had: McKenzie Rye Manhattan (so excellent if you are a fan of McKenzie) crab toast, tuna sashimi, fried chicken was delightfully spicy. Salted caramel sundae is not to be missed.
Won a Cran-Lychee Soda (spun wheel thru foursquare promo). Ate: Kimchi Jar, Calamari, Farmer Green Salad, Tiger Roll, Crunchy Tuna Roll, Beef Pot Bulgogi, Bing Sub Pot (dessert) Overall Very Good.
Chicken meatballs, garlic wings, and tiger salmon roll are all really good
Tuna burrito was phenomenal. It's like a sushi role had a baby with a chipotle burrito.
The Sumo Crunch is everything good and gluttonous in the world of sushi burritos.
First NYC outpost of the downtown San Francisco lunch sensation, you can't go wrong with the classic "Geisha's Kiss" tuna burrito. Grab a diablo sauce, a fresh and spicy salsa, for an extra kick.
Are you hungry? Try the Sumo Crunch roll. It's not too spicy, and not too heavy on the rice.
The sashimi salad and seaweed salad were tasty and reasonably priced.
There are a lot of options from sushi to fried chicken, and all of them fresh and tasty! It's a great cheap option for everyday meals.
It gets crazy at lunch time, but it's worth it. I'm very surprised that the buffet is so yummy. The vegetable dumplings & the penne vodka are my favorite go-to's here.
I get a special ordered Fra Diavolo gnocchi with spicy Italian sausage, with the house pinot noir, and sit at the cozy bar...the bartenders are always nice there especially Gvantsa.
Hey, had some really good eats at the bar. $5/plate of Pasta and a Crostini dish for $3.. Dyuring Happy Hour it is a score. (Mon-Fri 4-7PM)
Signature sirloin burger is EXCELLENT. Strongly recommend.
