Great Jazz found by surprise. Get there when the Shotgun Jazz Band are playing. They are great!! Drinks were quite good.

Stop for an early lunch and had delicious gumbo & a muffuletta that was awesome! Plus there was a great jazz band performing!
Excellent jazz band; Delicious remoulade sauce (ask for it to accompany any po' boy you order), the gumbo is way better elsewhere, & ask to sample the beer before getting a glass--it may be flat.

Gerald French and the Original Tuxedo Jazz Band is so worth visiting the Jazz Playhouse for. In between sets go check out the “secret courtyard garden” within the hotel.

The beignets and the coffee are much better here than Cafe du Monde. There is food on the menu and different pastries. There is also a full bar but it is a family place. Plus, there is live Jazz.
