It's in every guide book for a reason: it's THAT good. You must have the iced cafe au lait and beignets! Best wear a white shirt to hide the powdered sugar droppings.

The beignets are larger, fresher and imho tastier than Cafe DuMonde. The garden is much more inviting than being crowded under the tarp at CDM

I fell in love here last May with an amazing Finnish woman. Laying on a blanket in the shade listening to the calliope play or watching ships pass by. A truly romantic scene.

One of my better stops in NOLA! Come here for perfect food and GLASSWARE! It made me happy to get a beer in a glass glass! Also one of the only places with non-fried shrimp! A+
