Good food but the wait staff are a bunch of idiots. You need to take care of yourself here. Don't assume that they will look out for you. If you are waiting near closing time then take out!
Service is horrible. We got here at 5pm and waited 25 min. to place our order, and the waiter gave us attitude.Thr food is amazing, but from now on we are going to be taking out.

The SPAM musubi are made fresh to order, they can’t keep them stocked fast enough! My favorite SPAM is the shiso ume, herbal and sour, so good!
Food is great and comes out super fast but the service is nonexistent after you get your food. Not to mention that if u come during late hours the karaoke is blasting in your ears. recommend takeout.

Love this place! I live right down the street and I've been going for years. My favorite items: spicy tuna don with tempura (or plain), garlic chicken bento, and soba with nigiri. Never disappoints.
love the soft shell crab maki, hamachi nigiri, spicy ahi don (habanero masago!) & on Fridays, chicken karaage! fresher tasting fish than you'd expect for the price.

Good service. The belly bowl is quite huge with plenty of fatty meat. Anyone who is a meat lover will enjoy this particular dish. I couldn't finish my bowl, but there is a takeaway option.

Zippy's locations are dine in restaurants AND a separate take out area. The $ rating is more for the take out part. $$ is more realistic if you're dining inside, but has a greater selection.
