Make sure to wear good hikingh shoes. Flip flops not recomended. It gets pretty muddy as you go higher and deeper in. But the waterfall at the end is amazing.

Nice hike and waterfall but most of the trail is very muddy so be prepared to get dirty. Make sure to wear the right shoes and use bug spray.
Great hike. About 2km one. Gets quite muddy and a bit steep. My son went for a swimm under the waterfall.
It's a beautiful hike into the jungle. The forbidden waterfall is epic. You must cross under a hole in the fence of government property.
What a trek! Very muddy and a little hard to follow the trail but keep an eye out for the pink markers. Def worth it once you get to the falls

There is a path at the lower side of the lookout that leads to the maunawili trail with nice vistas and waterfalls.
Easily the spot with the best views. It's constantly evolving through each day. Ample parking and not crowded even when tour buses come. Don't miss a stop here! Say hi to the wild chickens and cats

Great place to stay in Waikiki. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Beach just across the street. Nice ocean view balcony rooms. No free wi-fi — sadly you have to pay for that.

I had the steak and lobster which was perfectly cooked and delicious but a 40 minute wait for it was quite ridiculous. Make sure you bring good company so you can talk story while you wait.
This was my favorite place for pau hana when I worked nearby. It's still one of my favorite Tiki Bars ever. I enjoy the musical stylings of the blind piano player when he's there!

We went on a gorgeous sunny day. This time of year it has not been too crowded. Pretty rocky near the water so be careful! A great spot to sunbathe.
