Old-school looking coffee shop with furniture from the 90s. Lots of space and some great magazines laid out for anyone to read. The coffee is great as well. They have flavored lattes on the menu.
They make the best avocado toast in the neighborhood.

Sea salt caramel pretzel is out of control
Really good ice cream and interesting flavors. A friend and I ordered a salted pretzel/burnt honey and a Vietnamese coffee/bourbon. Both combos were delicious!
There is an $18 banana split here. Someone else can tell me how it is.
Really liked the featured sake. Uni tostada, egg on egg on egg, and the grilled octopus were all delicious.
You MUST order the eggs on eggs on eggs - uni and white sturgeon caviar on a bed of scrambled eggs. One of the best things I've ever eaten. The steak for 2 is also delicious.

My new favorite pie spot! The lemon chess, almond chess, and sour cherry were great. The crust is perfection, buttery and flakey, and compliments the filling nicely.

Excellent sushi. Super spendy and super worth it. The surprise of the night was the oxtail and bone marrow fried rice. It was amazeballs. Miso cod was good too but raw fish > cooked.
I could eat a pound of the chicken liver mouse on Challah toast, and I don't even like chicken liver. Bonus: the restaurant is huge, comfortable, and great looking.
Organic popcorn be sure to try the "Classic Mediterranean" or "Zen Cheddar."

My boyfriend and I bought the gilt city brunch deal. The mimosas were really good and made from real OJ, unlike a lot of other brunch spots. Both of our meals were great.
