Thea Rodgers: So GOOD. Way better then carbone. Lamb carpaccio, duck, chicken for two, steak were all great. Fun cocktails too! Pricey.
Amanda Gluck: The foie, lamb carpaccio and frisée salad are the best apps. Duck and steak by far the standout entrees. Get mushrooms, pommes frites and green beans as sides. Skip the chicken for two.

Emilie Dishongh: The wine list is full of delicious things to discover, and wow that steak tartare is good!
Eater: Wildair has potato darphin (i.e. hashbrowns) topped with uni and jalapeño is so silky, earthy, and spicy, that one might expect to see it on the ubiquitous steakhouse menu of the future. Read more.
Anson Wang: Start with the beef tartare, persimmon & stracciatella, and the bread & oil. Wagyu steak for 2 is cooked sous-vide, then perfectly seared off. Can't really go wrong here.

Ranu Rajkarnikar: Hidden gem of a restaurant in the LES. Hangar steak was delicious and the potatoes were next level. Cheesy amazingness. Short rib was good too and guac is a great starter. Solid cocktails.
Zach Hamed: Cozy spot in LES. Get all the tacos (hanger steak, chicken, fish), guacamole with pomegranate, and ask the bartender to make you a custom drink.
Daniel Beyman: Hangar steak medium rare...a true crowd pleaser!!!

Gena: The menu, the ambience, the service - it’s clear 8282 is going to be *the* spot. Standouts include skirt steak, shrimp crudo, boneless KFC & soy-marinated pork. And be sure to save room for dessert.
Suzy Tran: The tuna tartare, jjajang bori-bap, 8282 skirt steak are must orders! Cocktails were tasty and refreshing.
Ernesto Gutierrez: Impressed by their new cocktail offerings, even the non alcoholic ones. All their dishes were superb: tuna tartare, kfc chicken, chicken kimchi rice, pork belly. Great date spot to begin the night.

Javier Rodriguez: Mambo Italiano, spicy chicken, pernil, chorizo, brasil and cheesesteak are all good. Working my way through all of them
Steve Dean: Having walked 3 bridges and many miles, you'll have surely worked up an appetite by now, so grab a quick, but filling bite here before you start drinking. Try the viagra empanada. You won't regret it.
Zack Sheppard: The new location for a LES staple since they got kicked out of their last space (for a luxury condo, of course).
15. Freemans

American Restaurant · Lower East Side · 570 tips and reviews
Chase Turner: This place tucked down an amazing alley (there are alleys in Manhattan?) straight up rules. Order a a Freeman's Cocktail, the artichoke dip, and a steak, you can't beat that.
Deandra Tan: Overpriced but otherwise decent food in a cute location. White lentil soup of the day was delicious, Mac and cheese generic, cheese board underwhelming, and steak tartar too tart for my tastes.
Stephanie Rivkin: The steak and Mac n cheese were great. The Brussels sprouts were just okay.
