If you buy one of those deals on living social or such, bear in mind the private lessons are held on a fake/mock mini half court, with an automatic ball machine. You won't be on a real tennis court.

This small park has a great view of the East River and LIC - very nice when there's a breeze. Come around 8:30am if you have a dog
On East 57th Street, a small alcove of benches allows you a quiet space to admire the water and the Queensboro Bridge. This obscure spot is easily overlooked and frequently empty. Read more.

Wonderful gallery. Great pieces of art by artists like Britto and Dganit Blechner. Visited their gallery in Tel Aviv and this gallery is just as nice. People are nice too.
