A great place in midtown for a reasonably priced, delicious Japanese meal. Lunch specials are a great deal.
Hang a right at the entrance for the front bar. Find a seat among the Japanese salarymen and trust the staff to provide comforting food and conversation.
Friendly service and old school Japanese decor! It's surprisingly bigger than I thought. Try the deep fried veggies and meat! (Kushiage katsu)
New Orleans and Third Avenue rolls are absolutely fantastic. Come here for well prepared, quality sushi for well below the Nobu prices. You'll thank me later and then come back the following weekend.

Its a place to go if you wanna get good sushi for a good price. Don't expect the best UNI or TORO sushi. However look what you pay and then evaluate. Nice feeling.
