The hot dishes & daily specials are remarkable and the sandwich line is always the length of the place, but worth the wait. Not cheap, the portions are huge.
Finally get the hype for sandwiches. Best hot sandwiches I have ever had. Get the Sgt Sweet Pepper on a hero. It's off the menu.
If you enjoy being fat, have them keep the skin on the turkey. Perfection
Quaint French bistro w/ everything you would expect to find on a French menu. Try the Steak Tartare w/ frites and choose the spicy tartar, it adds a nice complement to the entire meal

The whole fish selection is awesome. We settled for the Royal Dorado sashimi-style and it was absolutely delicious. The bottarga was heavenly, plus the octopus and phyllo/spinach were winners too.

A little on the pricey side, but one of the best Italian restaurants in New York. The service is great, and we'd recommend anything they're serving that day from the specials menu.
One of my favorite restaurants in NY! Spectacular food, classic old Italian ambiance. Worth the price, but it's not for you if you're looking for something quick and/or quiet (like I said, Italian...)
