The 9 Best Places for Green Beans in the Mission District, San Francisco

Jenny: I was skeptical, but this place is actually delicious. Chinese fusion with more Chinese than fusion. Pork belly, ribs, and ma po tofu (over crab!) were favorites. Green beans also had a nice kick.

Mike: Interesting combos: we loved the pastrami, green beans, and all the various fried rice. Best Chinese food I've ever had.

Iñaki Aranzadi: Lamb ribs OMG, and do the green beans of course.

Mark Munro: Steak tartare, pork belly, and chilled green bean casserole!

Jole P: Delicious and innovative dishes. On the pricier side but if you want to venture out and try things, get the chefs prefix menu!

Jonathan Eatherly: The tonarelli and sunchoke curry were standout hits. Close behind were the brassicas and turnips. Al's Place has beautiful presentation and ambitious selections of flavors. Expect big things coming.

An Sheng: One of my favourite spots in the city. Amazing maracuya sour 🍹 green beans, yucca fries, mac ‘n cheese, ceviche, tuna.. oh and the chicken 💯

Kenneth Berger: So many brunch classics here: the flatbread or soft scramble for something lighter, the hash or meaty sandwich of the day if you're hungry. The real secret: the toasted banana bread with cream cheese.

Caroline: Go on a sunny afternoon, sit in the back, and order some sliders - the chicken are the best I've tried. If you're extra hungry, try the mushroom appetizer.
