Village Voice: Cowgirl's chicken fried steak is exemplary in every way-it's something of a culinary miracle. Underneath is a mound of mashed potatoes, which is the proper accompaniment
The Corcoran Group: You haven’t lived until you’ve had the Frito Pie! We also enjoy the good strong drinks, the friendly service and the Chicken Fried Steak. One of our favorite themed restaurants in NYC.
Jared Lewandowski: Strawberry lemonade was excellent. Only place I've been able to find chicken fried steak in NYC, and it was 7/10... But I'm from Nebraska, so I could be bias :)

PureWow: We’re swooning over this tiny hidden restaurant that’s tucked away behind the super-cool cocktail bar The Garret East. Don’t miss the lasagna bolo (you know, Bolognese) for two. Read more.

Andy Heath: Notwithstanding comments at top of listing Blue Smoke does not have chicken fried steak on the menu and bartender standing ifo me says they haven't in a long time, but it was great when they did.
Village Voice: Try the cemitas-sandwiches on round seeded rolls traditionally made with cactus pulp but Sietsema's fave is milanesa res, a razor-thin beef cutlet similar to Texas chicken fried steak, only thinner.
Serious Eats: Unassuming Hell's Kitchen deli and taqueria. Great chile relleno and cheap, tasty tacos and tortas here.
Dave Olverson: Don't listen to other reviews. Tulcingo beats Tehuitzingo by a MILE. Tacos are just as good, plus, get their Enchiladas Combinadas and you WILL understand why Tulcingo wins.

Damian Bayona: The all you can drink brunch is a great value. If you get there early, the bartender will honor your AYCD at the bar if you give him your party's name 👍🏻
Erin Lane: You're supposed to get 3 mimosas or bloody marys with your entree, but it's basically all-you-can-drink and they do not mess around w/ the pours. Beware.
