Important national monument on Christopher Street, set in a small little park area with benches. Nice place to sit and stop just outside the Stonewall Inn
Wonderful tour. Definitely get there early to sign up for the guided tour. The college campus next door is a beautiful and peaceful walk while waiting to go on the Grange tour.
Nice little museum
Founding Father Alexander Hamilton named his last New York residence after his father's family home in Scotland. The surrounding neighborhood, Hamilton Heights, is named for him. Read more.

I was here for opening day of the buffalo shrimp in the upstairs bar -- highly recommended, tho you only get 3. FYI - Beware if dudes in suits talking tennis.

A wonderful and historic place to check out in the heart of Manhattan's financial district. Check hours of operation though, as they're often closed on weekends.
This Memorial was built in the 19th century & marks the location of the first capital of the nascent United States where George Washington took his first oath of office.
The (recreated) place that George Washington took the oath of office for his first term. Staff is very friendly and informative. Don't forget your NPS passport stamp!
