LOVE this store. Kind of leaves Apple in the dust. My faves were the VR experiences, the Instagram tunnel and the selfie wall.

On notorious Doyers Street, nicknamed “The Bloody Angle,” you can still visit one of the tunnels which enabled some gang escapes. Enter near Apotheke, and you'll exit at Confucius Plaza.
Update (2014): Many of the tunnel entrances are better locked, to ward off tourists. Best spot to enter now is in the building across from Chatham Square when security guy is away.

Established 1920s(?). Antique fixtures(?). Was brothel, speakeasy and gambling parlor across from old police headquarters. The system was so corrupt a tunnel connected the two buildings.

Bar/museum/theater/creperie - I recommend getting a hot buttered cider with whiskey and a butter + sugar crepe. Also butter.

My fave theater downtown. Most plays are in the round (seating on 3 or 4 sides) so there's no seat FOMO. Great dinner and drink options + small number of seats makes it a great date spot.

Grand Central oyster bar has great chowder. Also, if you enter the tunnel on 58th and Lex you can get a $5 scotch and either drink it on the metro north or enjoy it in the tunnel.

If you're from Manhattan this spot is NOT for you. Good view but Over priced mediocre food all in tiny portions. Drinks are tiny and pricey even for Manhattan. Crowd is bridge and tunnel and or tacky.

Tunnel was a nightclub opened in December 1986 at the cost of $5 million by Eli Dayan – the founder of Bonjour Jeans – in a space which was formerly a railroad freight terminal.
Tunnel closed its doors late in 2001, due to non-payment of rent and New York mayor Rudy Giuliani's quality-of-life campaign.
An excellent space for events and parties. Came here for Wanted Design 2016. The room featured tons of independent designers and three bars. Got a little crowded but enjoyed the space immensely.
