Laid back place with spectacular wine list, inventive food menu, great jukebox, and friendly staff.
One of our favorite wine bars in the city, where novice wine drinkers and oenophiles alike can taste something new and exciting.
Don't mess with my Mayorship ;)
Great wine selection, delicious food, friendly service. Only complaint is with portion size (8 dollars for 1 tiny slider?) but I'll be back for sure.
Kaia Wine Bar (& 50+ other eateries) will be sampling their fare at our 2013 Choice Eats tasting event on 3/19 - can't wait! http://ow.ly/h6OAc
OMG the seeds they serve with the bread are DA BOMB
Super cozy and cute inside. The 150 ml pours are generous and the staff is friendly. Wine on tap, sign me up!
Many wines. On tap. Many cheeses. On plates. (For real though, get a cheese plate.)
Such a chill bar. Bartenders are great and the lighting is fab.
$22 for a bottle of decent wine + rarely ever crowded. Love love this east village gem. Also can't resist the pigs in a blanket.
Great happy hour, really great prosecco for $20
Love this place! They have great wine in general but their happy hour is amazing $22 bottles of wine till 8 pm and $5 small bites...their crab toast and bruschetta are awesome - A+ for all occasions
Great champagne rose & prosecco, friendly staff & comfie table by the window with good view of the space & people. Love the atmosphere & drinks, food is too salty for me though. Cheers to Ardesia! s
Grab a spot on the patio and indulge in a great selection of wines, cheese, and small plates. The quail egg toast and deviled eggs are two of our faves. Pay with Cover and skip waiting for the check!
A charming wine bar that stands above the rest in Hell's Kitchen. Small plates are great for snacking.
Awesome atmosphere. Great place for a larger group to enjoy lots of wine and small plates.
Keep it simple with the steak tartare, made with top-notch, grass-fed beef that's mixed up with a little tomato confit, shallots, chive, and some sweet mustard. Read more.
The braised octopus. The duck confit. The seabream. And the crozes hermitage is one of my favorite wines ever. (wifi: lacompagnie / experimental)
Three tips: pig's ass sandwich, the stuffed peppadews and the maple bacon ice cream. Cheese + wine combos are excellent too.
Pig's Ass Sandwich: Thin shavings of Fiscalini Cheddar, nutty Fol Epi, and, er, pig's ass, with house-made bread and butter pickles whose bright crunch lightens each bite. Read more.
I have this endearing (or annoying) need to try Mac and cheese anywhere I see it on the menu, it rocks here, and start with the crostini- fab selection of wines , great catch up spot with friends!
Don't ignore the nuts. They have an amazing roasted almonds+cashews that perfectly pair with whatever you're drinking. They're a delicious harmony of spicy, sweet & salty. #getyourmindoutofthegutter
The sommeliers know their stuff and will teach you a ton about the huge selection of wines. The food is just as impressive, order the bone marrow. Pay with Cover and skip waiting for the check!
One of our favorite wine bars in New York, with an ever-changing dinner menu, wine classes, and an event space.
Unpretentious and warm place with quality food and wine. One of the best tapas/wine bars in NYC and my personal fav! Be prepared to squeeze - gets really packed.
We love to come to this cozy wine bar for happy hour, especially for the $1.25 oysters (through 7pm).
Moving forward, if you check in w #4sqr and mention Denis Crowley you get a free drink. #Hometeambaby
The mozzarella, sweet basil and, tomato sandwich is fantastic with any of the red wines.
Need to 'woo' your date? This romantic French spot is perfect and light on the wallet, get $4 glasses of wine from 5-7pm Tuesday - Saturday
Loved the atmoshere, the duck liver mousse and leak quiche. Skip the creme brulee though, too buttery!
The crostini are to die for. The fig, goats cheese and honey one especially. Also make sure you check out their freshly made fritatas and pies, incredible.
At $42 the schioppettino/refosco from Friuli is a good red wine option that pairs well with heavier dishes like the wild boar pate. Buon appetito!
Try the walnut pesto. It'll make you giggle with girly delight. It's worth a trip from anywhere in the universe. O. M. G.
