What's left of Victorian era. Gorgeously restored (now a museum) Rosson House is worth a visit. A couple of restaurants residing inside one of these buildings in the square.
This area encompasses the only remaining group of residential structures from the original town site of Phoenix.
This is the perfect hike. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to go up and down. There is a bench at the top to relax with an amazing view. Just make sure you go before May or it is too hot.

The Valencia Casitas have undergone a makeover and are amazing as ever! Gone are the tub/shower combos, replaced with a tiled shower with bench and mirrors. I can never get enough of this place!
Very close to airport. Nice 'casitas' style resort. Try the bar menu and live music night (Thursday's) and the pool and spa are very, very nice.

A lot of teenage kids like to puff puff on the benches around the back of the park. Makes for a nice incense smell when waking through :)
Perfect fields for football, soccer, wiffle ball, ultimate frisbee. And the wash is a great place for some capture the flag. Great neighborhood and nice open space.
In general this park doesnt have as many gangsta, ghetto folks hanging around, making it one of the better valley parks.
