The fried chicken is simply incredible, possibly outdone only by the smothered pork chops which were among the most delicious thing I've ever eaten! The chicken fried steak was also good.

great eatery in a nice little arcadia neighborhood. they have awesome breakfast (Venice burrito is my favorite) and even better pizza.
Ask for the Padre pizza - no longer on the menu, but they're happy to make it - ricotta, dried figs, prosciutto and arugula - creamy, sweetness, salty and a little bitter - great balanced flavors!
