Michael Montgomery: saw a game here and was surprised how easy the light rail was! drops/picks up across the street, and I would recommend leaving at least an hour early - light rail gets VERY crowded before a game.

Leah Starr: Right off the light rail near ASU's downtown campus- amazing sandwiches, fresh and specialty goods. They have a great deli for between class pick-ups. Try the beet and pecan salad.

Edward Jensen: Take METRO light rail to get here! Parking is limited especially during major events. Alight at the Encanto/Central Ave station: the Heard is southeast of the platform.
Brian Bell: This is a museum you won't find anywhere else. American Indian culture displayed within walking distance of the light rail. Kids 5 and under are free so it's a great family activity.
Brian Stash: Native American exibit was very interesting. Our tour guide was excellent.

Mel-a-bel: Take the light rail to avoid the parking nightmare.
Troy Pawleska: Be sure to pre-game at Macayo's Depot on Mill Ave for the cheapest drinks then take the light rail to the game
Joshua H: A state-of-the-art baseball stadium with a retractable roof. Air-conditioning make Summer/Spring games in the heat tolerable. The light rail is a cheap, safe way for student to travel to and from.

Leah Starr: THE best Thai food in phx, right off the light rail. Try the pad thai and tom yum soup. Generous portions and intimate atmosphere. New to Thai? Be sure to clarify your spice level.

Aaron Blumenthal: There's a special place in Thai hell for people who do not order the beef panang and, once you try it, you'll spend the rest of your life trying to eclipse its magnificence to no avail.
Brian Bell: This place is great for kids of all ages. The current mummy exhibit might be a bit much for younger kids but there is plenty of mental stimulation to be had. Public Transportation = Light Rail too
Brian Bell: This is a really fun, family friendly spot easy to get to via light rail. Check out the rotating/seasonal exhibit and plan to stay a while as there is lots to do.
Desiree Gaston: Excellent place to escape from the sun for a few hours, especially if you have children. I recommend checking their website for the most current exhibits.
