amy Dubin: Okay happy hour menu, huge back patio, a portion of which is covered and the interior is modern and frankly, a little cold. The fireplace makes up for all that, though and the staff is efficient.
Brian Votaw: big n empty early (if you have a big group of your own, go for it), big and hopping late; with a huge, partially covered outdoor outback (with ping pong), fun times (oh, and a tiny fireplace inside)
Cooper Smith: Inside has a great vibe for winter, but if its even semi-nice out, head out back to one of the best patios in Portland. Huge fireplace, an awesome ping pong table, and a speedier bar

Megan Skye: As beautiful of styling as one would expect from Coava's newest location. Bonus alien spider-streetlamp chandelier and has fireplace. Get cozy with a cap or (gasp) mocha!
Jewel Mlnarik: Love this as a place to work from. Cozy in the winter with a fireplace and you can bring coffee next door to Prettyman's. Read more.
Scot Olsen: Far more inviting space than its inner-SE kin. Pastries are on point and the space begs to be lounged in. Great for a pre-movie coffee if you're headed to Cinemagic.

Jessica Steinhebel: Great outdoor patio. Nice lounge area by the fireplace near the restaurant bar.
amy Dubin: Love the Happy Hour by the fireplace, though sadly it's not as warm as you think it ought to be. Prices great, food good, service fast. Check, check, check. Cool ass restaurant too!
Federica Bowman: A great evening spent on the patio by the fireplace eating a bowl of chilli.
amy Dubin: Gorgeous lobby with an awesome fireplace. If you're walking around downtown and it's chilly, stop in to warm up and have a drink in their handsome lounge.
Hotel Tonight: The opulent lobby is Portland at its poshest, with marble covering everything from the grand staircase to the fireplace.
Ted Coppock: Old school charm, Great food, Awesome room. Very friendly.

Tricia Saunders: Excellent Veggie Pasty! Very unique, tasty vegetarian dish! The Copella Chardonnay goes well with it and is reasonably priced. Oh, and the small table by the fireplace is cozy!
Matthew Baird: Saturday and Sunday breakfasts are a must! Grab a seat by the fireplace and grab an Irish coffee--then you'll be set!
AD Nys: Timber Joey frequently sighted here. Translation: solid spot to watch footie matches. Reserve a table if with a group of 6+.
Dylan Boyd: Great new place in the Village. Fireplace, couches, tables and kids play area.
Subcompact Culture: Great variety and very friendly staff. My favorite yogurt in town!
Travis Whitmer: Yummy. Always a good spot to go to satisfy your sweet tooth. Flavors rotate often. Always try the flavors first. Sometimes they sound better than they taste.
Mitali Gala: Cool vibe. Great cocktails. Wish wet had more time there. Cool fireplace too
Nicole Kasten: Great burger. Well made cocktails. Warm atmosphere. Patio available.
anomalily: So much seating! Very interesting cocktail menu (including 5 punches on tap, boozey Popsicles, and alcoholic slushies.) nice library/saloon atmosphere. Vegetarians/vegans have few food options.
H. Colbert (@hrsch): If the rain caught you off guard, dry off in front of the fireplace in the lobby and read a book (one of theirs or bring your own).
R Howard: Nicely decorated, clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, fast room service, great manager's reception in the evening and buffet breakfast. Omelet line very long but really good! Family friendly!!
@gracecheung604: One of the Guest Elevators doesn't go down to LL2, where the breakfast buffet & happy hour happens. Take the stairs from Lobby. Oh, they can make fresh omelettes with egg whites too!

Natalia Toral: This is my favorite place to be. And not just because I love fire. But there is a fireplace, gas lanterns, and a wood oven. Those things make a cold manhattan and a flatbread simply Devine.
Bryan Clark: Had the pork which was amazing. Well cooked with great sauce. Fantastic drink selection with good cocktails, wine, and beer.
Eater: Bartender-about-town Dave Shenaut curates the classics-minded bar program at Raven & Rose, where ingredients are inspired by the Ladd Carriage House's 1883 build date.
