Miles of trails and hidden little river beaches to either kick back with friends or hide from it all. Make sure and haul your trash out. Be patient in the summer about parking, this is a popular spot.

The mountain bike trail is great and has some decent climbs for the area.
Former farm, turned trolley stop, turned amusement park, turned park. Check out the restored lake, numerous bike trails, the farmers' market and Music in the Park during the summer months.
The vegan biscuits with gravy are a must. The upstairs part of the cafe is quiet and a perfect place to read.

The Greek salad and Chicken Gyro I had were great. My friend had the calamari and was impressed with texture/taste. Service also very efficient and friendly.
I was disappointed to see that my favorite Richmond dive had attempted a remodel towards a theme that was difficult to pinpoint. The food was still amazing, but the menu and prices overrated now...
